Be still

Hi there! Welcome to my blog.

Ive been wanting to start up this blog for so long, and finally Ive gathered the courage to do it! Im so excited to see what will come out of all of this!

During my bible reading time, I came across this verse and it really spoke to my heart.  "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." psalm 46:10 As I was reading I wrote a little prose, and I thought I would share it with y'all.

When through life I face many trials, and I’m anxious, and unsure, my God whispers “Be still”. When at night I stare up to the sky, and my heart is heavy with grief, God whispers “Be still”. When my heart is filled with fear, and my spirit is anxious, God calms my soul and whispers “Be still”.When I am broken, and my heart is torn, My God still whispers “Be still”. As He whispers to my troubled heart “Be Still…”, I wonder to myself, “Be Still and do what God…”, Then God reassuringly whispers “Be Still and Know that I am God”
